@bbcdesination @TalatFAwan @BBCLancashire A remarkable journey, and what stands out is that Talat was always ready to help others on the way. Extremely talented and one of the nicest people in radio. Listeners will also remember him as producer of Beswick and Gilly. So sad that Indus is ending as the cuts to LR bite.

Ahead of the episode of Indus on Sunday, I interviewed my colleague, friend, teacher, guru and ustad, @TalatFAwan of @BBCLancashire. Talat has spent over 25 years in radio and television and paved the way for many. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this amazing man!
