People calling Abstract “dying” are ignoring the actual data. Just look at the revenue rankings Abstract is currently #8 in chain revenue with almost $489k generated in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, some chains that raised $100M+ are still below it 👀 Abstract only raised around $11M, yet it’s outperforming heavily funded chains in actual on-chain activity and revenue. Half a decade of my life went into this game. Everything I had, and more than I had. There is not a stone I didn't lift, or a person I didn't reach out to. A lot of people told me to stop. "Don't go down with the ship." I watched friends and founders around me quit. I understood why, but I couldn't do it. Every time the end felt close, a new bottleneck appeared, and I'd convince myself we were one more push away. Then I'd push. The last six months were the hardest of my life. I went into debt to try to save it, and let it cost me health, relationships, everything. Because I couldn't look at the team, investors, or community and tell them we were done while there was anything left in me to give. Yesterday I had to let go of people who gave me years of their lives. That was one of the hardest things I've ever done. This game is one of the things I'm proudest of. Watching a million players walk into a world we built from an idea in August 2021, there is nothing like it. I built three companies before this one, and none of them taught me as much as this one did. I gave this everything I had. The team did too. Over five years, we built an extraordinary game world with @BitBoromir, who stood beside me through every chapter of this, and the developers, and artists who believed in it as much as I did, and a community that fell in love with it. The remaining team and myself are continuing to contribute to the coin, its smart contracts and its network. I'll give it everything I can, even for the smallest possible chance.
