(2010) within our first year as a band, Give Up the Junk headlined the world famous Hip Kitty Jazz Club and opened for Poncho Sanchez at the Brea Jazz Festival #musician#jazz#band
(2010) from my first recording session at Burlingame Studios in Lytle Creek CA with my band Give Up the Junk.
My Fender Geddy Lee Signature bass was the weapon of choice. The studio produced major sports commercials in addition to records for David Foster, EWF and Nancy Sinatra.
My first band “Give Up the Junk” formed in the summer of 2010. We rocked our debut concert at Big League Dreams Baseball Park in Chino Hills. The band jammed a setlist of funky soulful classics that day, beginning a 5 year run of local shows throughout CA. #funkymusic#musicians
The time Brian Bromberg gave me his bass! Let’s say I may have killed my shot at endorsement with Carvin, adamant about not selling this custom axe made for demo at NAMM2010. But after spending over an hour with me, he pulled an Artist card and sent me home with it!
(2009) Sitting in with the Los Angeles Lakers Band was an experience I will never forget. I can’t wait to return for another jam! #bassist#losangeleslakers
(2008) when I first picked up the upright bass. “Big Violin” as the kids in school called it. Vs today. We’re bringing back the old hair. #contrabass#uprightbass#bassist
1st ever photo of me with the bass (2007). To think it was all because I couldn’t sign up for wood shop. They asked me at jr. high orientation if I would be interested in joining Band, which of course I wasn’t! But when the teacher mentioned #bassguitar, the rest was history!
