read before that he kind of succumbed to include fan theories when writing the rest of higu answer arc so it's nice to know he took over the wheel this time even if he got practically spat on by the jp fanbase again 😭

and it's also fascinating from a reader pov, how ryksh matured in his ideas even injecting his hate-train experience with higu ep6 as a massive part of umnk's metanarrative layer (maybe my fav part of the story) and how it overlaps in his new approach to mysteries

the relationships in hgrsh are emotionally packed even if simple but in umnk, ryksh def took time in building up the story's heart which i feel ange/bttlr's end represents. once you look back from the beginning, everything about rokkenjima and beato just gets infinitely sadder..
