Planting a flag here: We're not missing MLB games in 2027. MLB owners will cave & the season may start a bit late, like in 2021, but it'll be played. If they miss games next year, they'll be sacrificing billions on the TV deals being redone after 2028

The owners don't want a salary cap because of the Dodgers. The owners want a cap because they've wanted a cap for decades. The Dodgers are a red herring, and you're going to let MLB get away with a lockout because you don't like the Dodgers trying to win more than anyone else.

River Ryan, Zyhir Hope and Brady Smith is a gargantuan package for a rental. That part is true But it’s also true that this could’ve stung a lot worse for the #Dodgers. I had Ryan ranked No. 7 in the system (55 FV), Hope ranked No. 5 (55 FV) and Smith ranked No. 14 (45 FV)

Don't hand out many baseball takes, but on the Tarik Skubal trade: You should be mad - not at the Dodgers. At the Tigers. Is that deal - 3 prospects, one not even in the Top 10 in the Dodgers organization - the you could've gotten, with two more days to to listen to offers?
