R1T2 Chimera breaks into OpenRouter's Top 20
Since three days, DeepSeek-TNG R1T2 Chimera has ranked in the top-20 of @openrouter's most popular models, on places 18, 19 and 19, respectively.
The current top 20 models are from @AnthropicAI, @Google, @OpenAI and @xai from the US, @Alibaba_Qwen, @deepseek_ai and @Zai_org from China, and from Europe @MistralAI and now - thanks to DeepSeek's generous OpenSource policy - TNG.
The ranking is a consequence of R1T2's usage growth: On Monday, it processed 7.34 billion tokens/day on OR, after having reached 5B and 6B the two days before. The first-generation Chimera, R1T, also had its best day ever with 1.86B tokens/day.
Together, all Chimera models reached 9.22B tokens, about 10.3% of the 89.2B traffic of all regular DeepSeek models on OpenRouter. As DeepSeek had about 18.4% share of the total token volume on OpenRouter last week, i.e. the Chimeras had roughly 1.9% total OR market share yesterday, just a bit below @Meta with 2.2%.
In a somewhat symbolic exchange, the Tri-Mind R1T2 child model replaced R1, one of its three parent models, in the top 20.
On the @chutes backends, R1T2 temporarily reached 6th place, running on up to 240 H200 GPUs.
These developments hint that R1T2, being almost always more intelligent and usually faster than R1, potentially could replace all R1 traffic that isn't moving to V3.1 or R1-0528.
Thanks to the community for the adoption of R1T2 Chimera. More research is ongoing.
