That said, I wish we had enacted the housing, care, and child tax credit elements in Build Back Better so we would have had concrete cost-of-living benefits to run on. People should reflect on which part of the Democratic Party denied us those agenda items.

Hypothetically let’s say Utah mostly stays stagnant when it’s all said and done, hopefully some left shift, that’s gonna be important to figure out why for Dems. You also better be praying we get that MLB team and our Winter Olympics creates another boom period

@BrandyLJensen Mandatory two years of public service for everyone 18-20. You pay them good and give them civic work to do and have all the young people interacting with each-other. Also, they get free college afterward.

"popularism" has never really been convincing to me as a political programme because its advocates rarely seem curious about understanding which issues drive votes for sets of voters and instead use it as an intellectual guise for why the issues *they* like should guide policy.
