2-2 vs Leblancs, lots of very interesting builds. Atakhan is an insane card. 3e Diana is insane, really impressed by how many times she can trigger. -1 Wages -1 Morbid Return for +1 FoF +1 Rebuke Lets you deny conquers from big LB units. Liking this version a little better.

- Tournament organizers are to provide WiFi at local events - Pokemon champions only method of connectivity is WiFi , meaning local wireless connection is a thing of the past (could be an issue but unsure until we try) Player base what’s your thoughts ?

@lorcylovesyou Some card shops are VERY hesitant to host VGC, and their wifi connection (if they have one) is usually not good.
Data hotspotting can be used as a "nuclear option" but for myself where I average 30 players (40 for cups) that seems risky as we don't know the connection bandwith

So, if I'm not reading it incorrectly, the new rules doc appears to be indicating that there's no local connection option in Champions Online connection required for both majors and locals alike Genuinely hope this isn't the case as that's a massive step backwards.

its challenging enough for local VGC scenes to grow, much less exist, after limiting our venue options. requiring online connection just adds another major barrier. if @playpokemon wants the Champions scene to thrive, they need to make grassroots events more accessible not less.

@lorcylovesyou badbadbadbad, most places i have played at have spotty wifi at best. I can see this being incredibly frustrating for players AND tournament organizers

This combined with the rule change that strongly encourage locals to be at card shops is worrying. Been to too many shops with bad wifi. Wouldn’t be shocked to see low player caps at some locals to account for this.
Colleges and libraries? Doubt they’d have these issues.
