Today is my last day at Anthropic. I resigned. Here is the letter I shared with my colleagues, explaining my decision.

In Nov, Becky Castle Miller ( @bcastlemiller) started following my tips on writing zero drafts for her dissertation. Since then, she has written zero drafts of 32,000 words. And she's submitted first drafts of her Intro (7,000 words) and second chapter (14,000 words). This is extraordinary progress. She says, "handwriting zero drafts any time I feel struck has radically changed my academic writing life." This means so much to me.

@AnnLindberg5 Yes, our frontal lobe (where we make good decisions) doesn’t work well during a trauma response. This is so our brain stem, which reacts faster, can work to keep us safe more quickly. We have to get a parasympathetic nervous system (vagus nerve) response to happen to calm us.
