Tolaj, Wareham, Ballard seem to be our targets for a striker we would actually pay a fee for if you buy into the talk… All very decent options with 18,19 and 23 goals in League 1 respectively Any views on which would be the better fit for us?

@liam_fowler I would say we have been pretty good at getting deals done before start of pre season with the odd exceptions. Under Pearson we we strong at that e.g Sykes mccrorie knight Dickie etc

@JonD_BCFC Agree, Tanners best form came when he played in a back four under Pearson 22/23 where he doesn’t have as big a role as a wide centre back in carrying out with the ball.

Fans may forget how solid George Tanner is in the right compact set up. He isn't Kyle Walker. You can't just leave him with too much to do. A solid system, back 4, he's a 7 out of 10 most days of the week. Rarely higher but that's fine. A Steve Finnan I guess one might say

@JonD_BCFC I feel like we now have a number of players that are able to create and unlock defences however I am worried we will miss the pace and power sincs provided although he was all over the place. I think twine, horvat, greenwood can all play on the wing but are more suited to the 10.

Twine, Stokes, Bell, Horvat, Greenwood, possibly Ballard. To me it looks like you wouldn't mind any of them getting a chance to score. The likes of Burgzorg and Armstrong do disrupt and it helps those around them. But maybe no more forwards who you think will miss a chance?
