On his first day in office, Trump pledged to: -Fire Gary Gensler from the SEC -Establish an Executive Bitcoin Council. -Eradicate Operation Choke Point. -Order the Treasury Department to halt any progress towards a CBDC. -Hold 210,000 bitcoins in the treasury. -Free Ross Ulbricht from prison -Defend the right to self-custody -Establish clear regulations for stablecoins. There were some mixed Reactions from the Bitcoin old guard and influencers. Despite varied opinions, this speech marks a significant moment in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency landscape. Game Theory is in full effect! Bitcoin is Non Partisan and doesn’t care about your politics. It stands for freedom and so many other things. At the end of the day we need advocates and champions. In a perfect world this is about as loud as it gets. We have come a long way.

7 months after quitting my job, selling my things, and moving to Vietnam, the project I have been working on is live: The OpenWorld Portfolios. Why did I quit my job to launch OpenWorld? I bought Bitcoin in 2017 (shout out to @TheRandomOne18 and the @tferriss and @naval pod episode) and went down the rabbit hole. I became obsessed with the potential of what it could do. Over the next few years, during the bear market of 2019, the bull market of 2020 and 2021, and back to bear market of 2022 and 2023, I looked for opportunities to not just invest, but build something in crypto that could be of consequence in the world. Then I met @0xMilkiee in Austin and eventually we cofounded @OpenWorldFi with an amazing team in Vietnam.
