What have the fans done wrong to break the relationship, and why do fans have to do anything to repair it? We paid for the Pohlad’s stadium. We drank their $15 beer. We paid their ticket service fees. We devoted time and care to substandard rosters. We’ve done plenty.

@WillRagatz Will, I won’t tell you how to think/what to do because honestly I don’t care in the slightest. What I will tell you, is that the Pohlads bumping payroll up won’t fix them being bad owners. They have to go.

I'm excited to head to the Twins' home opener today. I've loved baseball and the #MNTwins for my entire life, and I'm not going to let cheap owners take that away. I can absolutely respect those who feel spurned and no longer want to support the team. What I can't respect are those who tell other fans how they should feel or what they should do. It's an individual decision for each fan to make. Like everyone else, I'm extremely disappointed in the decisions the Pohlads have made since the 2023 playoffs. In an ideal world, they'd sell the team to someone more committed to spending what it takes to win (or bump payroll back up themselves). With that said, I'll be a regular at Target Field this year because it brings me joy, win or lose, and I want to support the players on the field. Let's go get a W today.

Valentine's Day is a special day for a lot of people. But, for some, it's just another day. Today, as I was in a rush back to my apartment from the grocery store, there was an elderly lady walking ahead of me aimlessly by herself. My initial reaction - unfortunately what happens after 9 years in NYC - was we gotta keep it moving. I waited by the elevator and she turned back to me with a reserved expression on her face. I smiled and said hello to which she then lit up smiling and made a remark about the fruit I was carrying. We spoke for a few minutes and then parted ways. As I rode the elevator up a few things came to me head: 1) Be kind Who knows if she has anyone else to speak to today. We all have shit we're going through...we may not all agree on the same things...but just be kind, man. 2) Appreciate the present We are always in such a rush, figuratively and literally. Time flies - appreciate we you are right now. Not sharing this to sound holier-than as it is just as much a reminder for myself.

@bchuhel12 I'm not a Tom Pohlad believer but Tom telling him to record the conversation would come off super poorly like he was trying to make PR statements for the record and Trevor secretly recording his employer would probably be a bad idea if he wanted to keep his job lol.

If sharing the first 5 minutes of the call would’ve had such a huge impact on fans, then why wasn’t it shared ? And yeah, this team might be better than we think. But nothing compared to contenders in the AL. Guess we are settling for mediocre teams now.
