Per source: The Athletic miscalculated the scale of the Russini-Vrabel story. I'm told the outlet originally took Russini at her word that this was a hit job and the photos were taken out of context. As the backlash escalated and broader company execs got involved, the tone changed around Thursday morning.

Boston needs a Red Sox bar. Not a sports bar, specifically a Red Sox bar. Just like Baseball Tavern (RIP) but it should be distinctly Red Sox themed. Audio on for every game, tons of TVs, Red Sox themed drinks, alumni guests, etc. None of the current Fenway bars fill this niche.

I will never understand why artists with huge deep catalogs do cover songs live. I get it’s cool / different for them. But if I’m going to see an act with a deep big catalog I love I want to hear their songs. Unless they had a hit with that cover. Then I get it. IMO
