I’m grateful to work w/ an excellent student who plans to make a difference. Gracie Jenkins presented on #AI in #child & #adolescent #psychiatry, arguing for the importance of the #human factor. We met years ago…in a research ethics course. (Go Rams!) Full circle moment.

Continuing to reflect on the interesting and important #ethics projects presented by @HMHSchoolofMed students at #MSRD2024. The impact of #AI on #healthcare is becoming significant, and good work is needed to better understand how it will affect the most #vulnerable among us.

They presented two great projects: one on mandatory holds after naloxone treatment, another on ethical considerations in prescribing opioids. Well done, Connor and Jenna.
