@JayWamsted I was teaching 7th graders. We had to go to the library to watch it. It was surreal.

Who out there was already teaching in 2001 when the twin towers fell? I was a tutor at the time, so I slept through the whole thing. Didn't even have a TV or a decent phone so I found out late in the afternoon. I can't imagine being in front of a classroom at the time.

@bctechteacher @jmattmiller @ajjuliani @ChristieTerry The session I did with Matt at ISTE is aligned with the work I’m doing with many districts. Developing core competencies on using tech to support higher order thinking and learner empowerment. Not chasing a bunch of apps or the shiny new thing.

It's July. Time to clean my office and my whiteboard so I can put all my projects for next year back in order.

I had a good time at #ISTELive #ISTELive23 . I think AI in Education was the biggest trend. I've got a lot to think over after this one. Thanks to @k_shelton @jmattmiller and @HollyClarkEdu for a good presentation on the last day.
