The players cited an increase in generalized harassment and xenophobia directed toward the Russian community following recent controversies, as well as dissatisfaction with the Demonlist's site maintenance and policies. SerVax initially blamed his friend Sevvend, claiming he had access to his accounts. However, leaked Discord screenshots show SerVax admitting to posting it, while other top players confirmed Sevvend was playing Minecraft with them at the time of the tweet. 2 hours later, SerVax publicly admitted to posting the video and apologized.
