I understand Canadiens fans are dissapointed and some will make some aggressive assumptions based on this decision. From what I'm hearing, this is a layered decision. His brother Alex will be with Michigan, he will get #1C usage and will be able to further build himself up.

@mndamico Hage took the right decision. He’s not NHL ready yet and Montreal roster is full. Going back for his junior year trying for a Natty and the Hobey Baker while growing his game even more and being the main guy in Michigan is gonna help him come out ready to go for the NHL
