💙🦋🌺 I wonder why it always seems that when a marriage breaks down whether there are kids in the picture or not its the woman who ends up carrying the heavier load. We are expected to sacrifice, to put our own dreams and peace of mind on hold, just so the kids dont feel the cracks too deeply. And yet, far too often, the father drifts away, barely showing up, leaving the mum to juggle everything: the bills, the school runs, the emotional storms, the endless late nights. Its like society quietly assumes women will just "cope," that we will bend ourselves into shapes to keep the family afloat, even when our own hearts are breaking. And the hardest part? Watching the kids wonder why their dad doesnt care enough, while you are there trying to be both parents at once. Theres a raw strength in women that gets overlooked because its not glamorous, its not celebrated, its just survival. But survival shouldnt be the default expectation. It shouldnt always be us who suffer more, who sacrifice more, who carry the weight of love and responsibility alone. My heart goes with all women who are suffering through this, and I want you to know, you are not alone. ❤️
