We've just launched fine-tuning for GPT-3.5 Turbo! Fine-tuning lets you train the model on your company's data and run it at scale. Early tests have shown that fine-tuned GPT-3.5 Turbo can match or exceed GPT-4 on narrow tasks: openai.com/blog/gpt-3-5-t…

LIMA: Meta’s new LLM, based on the 65B LLAMA
Interestingly, it has been trained using a mere 1,000 samples, yet it shows comparable results to the SOTA LLMs.
Language models are not exactly "few-shot" learners, don’t you agree?

Should LLM-base models be open or closed? Meta advocates for openness (eg. LLaMA), while OpenAI & Google lean towards proprietary.
They say openness is risky (or are they safeguarding their own interests?)
Closeness though poses far greater dangers. #ai

@OccamShaveCream @TechBurritoUno @BigDataQueen_me Turing Test, is also in 1950s (same time AI was coined) & is an important milestone. However, contrary to common belief, AI was actually coined during the Dartmouth Conference organized by John McCarthy & attended by many researchers who are known as the founding fathers of AI.
