My wife wrote the words and had a song created for me for Valentine’s Day. It hit deeper than I expected. She sang about: – The boys – Losing our fur babies Angel & Monty – The first time I saw her picture and knew she was “the one” – Our trials and tribulations – And something most people forget… There was a decade I was on disability. Then I went back to nursing school. Starting over at that stage of life is humbling. No spotlight. No applause. Just work. Then she sang the line that hit hardest: “The Huskers don’t define your name. Your worth is defined by love, not fame.” For years I thought identity came from performance. But legacy isn’t built in stadiums. It’s built: In living rooms. In grief. In rebuilding. In staying when it’s hard. Love > Fame. Character > Clout. Resilience > Reputation. If you’re in a rebuilding season: Your current chapter is not your final definition. Keep going.

Greg McDermott is a LEGEND. Legend folks. What he did to Creighton basketball cannot be explained. He is now 7-3 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as the head coach of the Jays. He was a 6 seed or lower in eight of those ten seasons 🤯🔥

@betitup5 I had one vote—it’s inconsistent that the BE MBB tourney is at MSG—the basketball “Mecca”—following the same logic, baseball should be in Omaha. Think of the additional expenses each school not on the East Coast spends to be at MSG—and yet East Coast wouldn’t vote for Omaha

@bdrass You tell us Bruce. You were there. Could it be you couldn't sell or hype Creighton baseball, or make them any good at all? No promotion or development of the program? Going with Mr. Ed as coach year after year after year??

A better comparison would be for the BIG EAST baseball tournament to be at the home of the CWS every year. Why is this not happening ??
