@JannisX11 The things you're describing might very well be true, but honestly, compared to the years old flight behavior the difference feels rather negligible. Making the mechanics more complex but getting the same exact results as a simpler solution doesn't strike me as an advancement.

@beMulcho The vertical velocity is calculated much more smoothly based on facing angle and other variables. The current total velocity of the plane is taken into account. If you fly faster, you can also climb faster. On runways, you gradually speed up or down like in real life. (3/3)

I made the models and vehicle mechanics on this map. Pretty sure this is by far the most advanced flight physics system in Minecraft Bedrock Edition to this day!
