어떤 튀르키예 영화외사에서 3주 동안 Glitch 에 여러 차례 예약 문의를 보냈는데, 단 한 번의 답변도 받지 못했데요. 결국 더 이상 예약이 불가능하다는 사실을 확인하고, 개봉 예정 목록에서 해당 작품을 삭제했대요

@Glitch51Moments It's not like they're specifically targeting Koreans to begin with but the statement they made is definitely implicating Koreans as being repressive and untrustworthy. The fact somebody else mentioned censorship in SOUTH Korea goes to show how far the misinfo goes.

@Egretious @Glitch51Moments glitch tried to amicably resolve it and even asked them for the accounts so they can give back whatever they spent on promotions etc prior to terminating the contract. They said no and proceeded to sue them :/ they WANTED drama.

@Glitch51Moments It’s frustrating to me because I fully believe they should face legal repercussions for any damages and that the community SHOULD support the SK theaters (and all theaters) affected if they’re pursuing legal action but it’s … not discrimination. Not when it’s happening+

If there’s been any theatre cancellations or an inability to enter a region, we want you to know that we’ve been trying our best. There’s ratings compliance, security policy and legal rules specific to EACH country and theatre chains that we are trying to navigate around the clock.
Some regions are straight up rejecting our distribution because there are censorship laws and we refuse to change the original vision of this show. In other regions, there are laws that say we can’t due to how close it is to its streaming release. Any cancellations or refusals have been due to security concerns. For example, one distributor wanted us to email them the raw video file so they could then mail it to ratings agencies by post. This is how leaks happen and we take this very seriously.
This however, does not mean we aren’t still trying relentlessly to enter these regions. We also want this finale to be accessible in as many countries as possible. Thank you all for helping the TADC finale get this far.

After signing a contract with Korea and then breaking it themselves, they’re now hypocritically portraying Korea as a country full of leaks. Korea actually has strong security standards, which makes their victim-playing even more disgusting.
