@BlogXilla I used the beaba babycook. I really liked it because you could steam/cook in it, dump it back into its juices and then purée it. It’s not terribly to much work. It’s very doable and I suggest it. Weirdly, it’s always recalls on jarred foods so I 100% suggest you do it yourself.

Does anyone who follow me make their own baby food? My son is 4 months and I’m about to process his oatmeal but I plan on feeding him only organic foods that we purée ourselves. Is this doable? How much effort is this? What would you recommend?

@ToriBeatrice The valve is opened when the child bites or presses their lips down on it while sucking through the straw. It’s a similar technique to when they breast or bottle feed, and the straw’s functionality is meant to naturally mimic that familiar motion for them!

@beabausa purchased your sippy cup and no water comes out when sucking. Am i missing something

@ToriBeatrice Hi there! The straw has a valve in it that needs to be slightly compressed to open and allow liquid to flow through. Without compression, the valve stays closed in order to avoid spills when the cup is upside down, and food from traveling back down the straw and into the cup!
