We recently completed an Air Force @AFWERX contract! The exciting parts include transitioning a set of new pilot assistance features into real-world flying, which are focused on the airport terminal area —a complicated portion of flying that accounts for the majority of safety accidents and incidents. These features could reduce or eliminate many of the notable aviation mishaps in the news over the past year. We also conducted extensive iterative feature development through simulation and flight validation events, potentially achieving an industry first with a mid-flight over-the-air system update that resolved issues in hours, not months.
