Sir Jim Ratcliffe is a hugely successful entrepreneur and a Manchester United fan who grew up near Old Trafford. He should be a good co-owner. But comments like “I don't think it makes sense for a Manchester United ticket to cost less than a ticket to see Fulham” via @UWSmag are alarmingly out of touch. You can’t compare the two areas for a start, Fulham fans are rightly protesting increases there anyway and the money United generate from charging (some) kids £66 a ticket is negligible compared to the money wasted on poor business/recruitment decisions and the damage done in alienating match-going fans - the ones who bring the atmosphere that TV pays handsomely for. #MUFC

We are now at the stage where the big boys don't even bother to notify us/talk through proper changes like the one's announced today re the @EmiratesFACup
I have no idea what the @premierleague or the @fa are even thinking pulling this move the way its unfolded today 😳
If this is a sign of things to come then expect a full on fallout within English Football coming soon all caused by one faction of our game.
@EFL It is time to show some minerals in how we respond to these events today imo.
Ignoring us lower down the pyramid is not a sensible route to take going forward.
Time to get in a room/around a table & make proper progress on everything as this Is not healthy for our industry.

Simple rule for offside needs to come in - If you’re offside when the ball is played & impacting play (blocking a defender, keepers view etc), then it’s offside. Non of this subjective crap, because you have no idea how the defender could contribute. It’s not American football.

I know this season has been poor so far for MUFC, but I had a long sit down interview with Erik ten Hag recently. And I came out of the room wanting that man to continue doing the very difficult job he's got on his hands. He's knows what's needed.
