I am sorry but I am a bit tired of pessimism that has been floating around. I try to make my timelines unbiased but may be it got a certain bias creep over time. Cliches first - India will continue to disappoint both optimists and pessimists. Everything and its opposite is true

Lol 😆 I don't have the wherewithal to investigate it's veracity. But we need to see what's down the value chain of these CPI prints. These are used for indexation of various assets, to show the world how GDP is growing, a general guideline for the RBI and for the bond market to price stuff. I don't think it's easy/possible to bluff so many participants consistently by fabricating data (I'd be impressed if it were pulled off, due to the pristine quant work behind it) Just my 2c
