Apprently, price went on to smash TP. Do I regret taking partials instead of full tp? No. Would I take this trade again if it appears? Yes. I followed my rule: Never exit a trade unless you see a potential reason why & I’m happy I did. Still up 3RR this week, that’s a win.

Today I traded differently from my usual style. I closed my trade at 1.14RR (v10 index) WHY? Obviously v10 is a seriously bearish pair. Frame 1. Initial target was 2RR but I noticed something, price kept ranging around 5100 for hours. Neither going up or down… 1/3 ⬇️

@Thetraderguyng @liquidmoney007 @TemmyAde__ @LifeOfDozi Exactly bro, it’s basically capital management. Very different from fear, you’re exiting bcos you noticed a potential reason why the set up would not hold. It’s different from chickening out a trade without a valid reason.

Frame 2. I went into the lower time frame and realized something was pushing price down, more like a breaker block of some sort… 2/3.

On to the next!

All we gotta do is follow what the market is saying not try to force your bias on it. No be your papa Dey control market. If it ends up hitting tp - no regrets. I secured profit already.

So I did what a reasonable trader would do. I took my profit and exited. Sometimes when we lose money we say it’s just the market doing its thing but most times the market is telling us your bias is right but I can change at any moment.

Frame 3. Next thing I did was go into that breaker block poi and found that price has already formed a sell set up as shown in frame 3. Now I know there’s problem. I can’t shoot long here. I can’t be trying to buy and I’m seeing a sell set up countering my buy.
