@najurema @alexoteupaii Mas eu disse "altera a escrita". Para ser aportuguesamento teria de alterar também o som e (pelo menos na minha experiência) sempre que ouço um brasileiro a dizer time estão só a dizer team como se fossem ingleses. Assim, devia ser só um estrangeirismo e manter a escrita.

@najurema @alexoteupaii Aliás, na publicação original eu disse que ir buscar palavras a outras línguas era completamente justo exatamente por compreender que é assim que se desenvolvem línguas.

@bearg_2ooo @alexoteupaii como você acha que a maior parte das línguas nasceu? como você acha que novas palavras surgem? e você acha que a palavra equipa foi inventada do zero no português?

@Astronauagos @alexoteupaii Não há nada de errado em ir buscar palavras a outras línguas, literalmente é assim que funciona a línguagem, assim que evoluiem. Nunca disse que era errado usar time, apenas que a sua adoção no português sai fora da norma.

@Astronauagos @alexoteupaii É uma aberração porque é um empréstimo que mistura o método de aportuguesamento (traduzir a escrita e som para aproximar do q já existe no português), com o estrangeirismo (manter a escrita e sons) Neste caso mantém-se a fonética inglesa, mas muda-se a escrita.

Who should it be returned to? The British Royal Family has had it since 1850, when it was given to Queen Victoria by the British East India Company.
