I’ve been trading memes since the end of 2024. Like everyone, my journey has been unique and one that I wouldn’t change even if I could - the losses and wins were all part of the learning process to get me to where I am today. My good irl friend @Kidvegass put me on memecoins back then and I’d sit in my uni room trying to learn the way of trading. If you can remember the 24/25 cycle was pretty hot, full of AI coins which to me was a struggle as it’s never really been my forte. I started off putting $50-100 into wallets most weeks and could never get the ball rolling. I probably did this 30-40 times and ran every wallet to zero. It wasn’t till I decided enough is enough and I needed to hone in on my skills and risk management. I paper traded for a whole month (put $0 in) and was just calling plays here on X. Most of the time getting very little engagement and only a few hundred followers. I actually called $Troll sub 150k and I can remember @fomomofosol saw my call and aped like 5k in which turned into 100k as it reached 40m market cap pretty quickly. Fomo then called my page out and I got crazy amounts of followers. For some stupid reason I then decided to take out a student loan which at the time seemed like a decent idea and I put 3.5k into a few coins. Then the $TRUMP coin launched… it ruined me. I pretty much lost it all and was back to square one. Sat in a student overdraft of -2k and a student loan that needed paying off eventually. But I didn’t give up, I kept going. My paper trading helped me spot good narratives early and I was finally getting a hang of things. I found a coin called Fog at 30k and it ran to a little over 5m which turned my few sol into over 20k. However I roundtripped a lot of this and was left with around 5k. I kept running this 5k into 40-50k and then back down. I never really hit a crazy play it was just compounded wins over time. I then found conviction in $Uranus and aped pretty much my whole portfolio at 7m before it ran to 80m and I made 500k, I didn’t release all the profits but this was when I made my first 6figs. I now had capital to play with - I decided the best way I was going to keep this capital was through monthly challenge wallets. I’ve done these for the past 5months where I’ve started off with a small port and ran it up to 5-6figs everytime without fail. My most memorable week was when I had a wallet with $70 (the same wallet where I got robbed irl and they stole 10k+ and left me with just the $70 so I thought it would be a fun challenge to run it up) and this turned into 8k within a week. I’ve had a lot of 6fig trades too where I’ve aped with size and conviction. There’s so many banger trades I’ve had in my time that the list would be too long for me to mention them all. Just to name a few I’ve had $SPSC, $Whitewhale, $Uranus, $Kori, $Buttcoin etc. I now sit here having quit uni to do this full time with multiple 6figs in stables, debts paid off and I can do whatever I want when I want. Freedom. All at the age of 21. Where else is this possible. I’m truly grateful not only for having a following on here but also the fact I get to wake up everyday and do the thing I love while making money from it.
