I don't know when you guys are going to learn, but real clickbait is positive. No one wants to hear that their QB is overrated, & no one on this website really cares if you have a good track record. You just have to tell them their hopes & dreams are placed in the right hands.

NFL QBs usually don't develop much. They usually take 10-20 games to adjust to the NFL, but once they adjust, they typically remain what they are for years. After 5+ years of starting experience they usually improve mentally again, but their athleticism starts to wane. Some QBs are exceptions. Josh Allen famously improved from a raw, uncoached talent into a superstar. A lot of that was because he simply (1) never got any worthwhile coaching in community college or Wyoming and (2) never had ANYONE to throw to. Dak Prescott totally re-worked his mechanics AND made dramatic mental leaps after a very dumbed-down college offense. The list of QBs that significantly improved in the NFL doesn't continue much further. Caleb Williams improved his pocket presence a little in 2025, but most of that was simply having a great OL and an amazing offensive system that gave him ample, easy answers. This is who Caleb Williams is. He is a below-average but exciting QB. He can operate a system well enough to hang around in the league, but he is no star. He is very clearly the weakest link on a stacked and brilliant Bears offense, but he will always have a few sick highlights that throw his public perception waaaay out of whack. Ben Johnson will ensure that Chicago always has a top 10 offense, but we have probably already seen Caleb Williams' ceiling: a mostly bad QB that can salvage it all with a few huge plays, much like DeShaun Watson or Kyler Murray. Two guys whose media shine wore off pretty quickly.

Every offseason, fans and analysts try to project the next Josh Allen. This year, that quarterback is Caleb Williams. The problem? Josh Allen became the exception that reshaped expectations for every talented but unfinished quarterback who followed. 🧵

@JoeA_NFL This is a joke, right. Josh Allen sure, Lamar Jackson improved a lot as a passer over his 1st 4 years. Darnold improved. Purdy has improved. Trevor Lawrence improved a ton. What you are seeing is actually starting a QB too early stunts their ability to grow.

@JoeA_NFL Imagine the roster Ben Johnson could have today if Ryan poles didn’t think he was only a QB away in 2023.

the @ChicagoBears board of directors has voted to "advance" the stadium development project in Hammond, Indiana, they have not yet finalized or selected an exact site. Because the project is still in the "due diligence" and planning phase, it is expected that no formal construction or environmental permit applications have been submitted to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) or other local regulatory bodies…

These coaches are creating bad habits. QB’s are not gonna be directly behind a guard at no point during the game. Even on a handoff. So why make a move and reach immediately. They need to practice running after they win and then reach. That’s realistic. Even if you win right away. The QB not gonna be right behind the guard. And that 4 point stance 🤦🏾‍♂️
