@beaspellsalott I gained 100lbs on risperidone so that ones bad but abilify made me gain 15 lbs. it changes your appetite so just keep an eye on your portions and make sure it doesn't change.

@beaspellsalott i was on a HIGH dose of abilify for two year, it didnt cause weight gain but it did cause muscle issues for me (i couldnt close my mouth properly) if you have any issues like that, please please talk to your provider! it may be serious🫂

@beaspellsalott different for everyone. i was taking the highest dose and gained nothing. its also more of a negative-symptoms antipsychotic rather than a positive-symptoms antipsychotics idk how to explain it. from experience, the meds who help with positive symptoms have worser side effects
