Trump's Oval Office makeover. Thoughts?

What is the name of such interior style? 🤔

@beau_brummell None of this changes their DNA, language, institutions etc. America was founded by British people and will always be a fundamentally British nation. If that changes then it is no longer America.

@beau_brummell There were also French. But it doesn’t change the fact 80% British. None of these groups made up large numbers and for the most part were assimilated into Anglo norms by the early 19th century.

@beau_brummell The Irish didn’t arrive in large numbers until mid-19th century.

Revisionist, ahistorical nonsense. Revolutionary Republican France wouldn't exist for over a decade after 1776. Jefferson wanted Hengist and Horsa on the seal, and considered 3 Englishmen to be the greatest men the world had ever seen. “I am an Englishman, in my manners, my habits, and my feelings.” - Thomas Jefferson USA was over 80% English in 1790, nevermind British - of which the Scottish and Irish are/were.

@beau_brummell Iroquois confederacy point I believe is false, the Magna Carta was the influence.
