They actually got Kumiko and Chozen from Karate Kid 2 in Cobra Kai! You can tell a lot of love goes into this show.

@BlazeBinges I think the reason why I love this show so much is because all of the martial arts and rival dojos it feels like you’re watching a live action anime plus Miguel being in a coma and having a mental fight to stay alive is something straight out of an anime
