granted, it takes years for to do this, but @BecauseJyoty is the perfect example of this. i don't know a dj more intentional and serious about what her crowd looks and feels like + weeding out assholes, but i know for a fact it didn't come easily nor quickly

when people claim you cannot help what your crowds look like i have to beg to differ, you absolutely can. it just takes far more work and strategising than people realise. your image, the festivals/promoters/venues etc. you play for/at, your social media presence all impact
