@PetreRaleigh There are some interesting contradictions in how they complain about teachers forcing them to sit still/behave/conform to arbitrary and unfair standards while also expecting women, queer folks, and people of color to shut up and conform.

there were actually quite a few boys who were disruptive but genuinely smart people, except they are all doing pretty well for themselves now and not bitching about female teachers on twitter lol

fwiw i definitely think racialized boys in particular have a much harder time in school but a lot of ppl on here are just doing the whole “gifted kid potential” thing 😭😭
