I really am drawn to both GUM & psychiatry as specialties Both of them interest me so much more than other specialties I’ve experienced I really wish I could pursue ~both~ of them for careers, no idea how I’ll be able to decide which path to take (thankfully I have lotsa time)

@rachaelburke @BritishHIVAssoc Yep!! Maybe we crashed it?!? But there’s only 30 or so of us doing it so seems unlikely.

People of healthcare/medicine - what’s your one body part that you just can’t deal with? For me it’s teeth and nails. No idea why but give me loose teeth after an injury or a nail that needs trephining and I go all pre-syncopal and jelly-legged. Nope. 🤢.

@yasminleighw Having huge issues with this reimbursement system here too. LTFT training and LO in nursery simply cannot afford the upfront costs of things. Even the HIVTA training day - it’s free but the train is £117 😳😳😳😳 and I just don’t have it.

I don’t know why I bothered trying to be honest. Stress of attempting to claim outweighs any benefits of actually attending these things.

Frustrating playing the study budget game. Expected to front the costs yourself and subject to extremely strict time limits as to when to submit forms. I’m now waiting for a certificate of attendance. Told by @BASHH_UK needs CPD approval before they can provide
