Chat: Are you jealous?
Zeudi: Well, I think we’re still at a pretty early stage, even though in some ways it also feels quite advanced. Let’s say we experienced things a bit more intensely, because during the days we were together we almost always slept together, so we were kind of… closer, more attached.
And then I think about this: even if two people speak different languages, it doesn’t mean communication is missing. In our own way, we make ourselves understood, at least I do, and she knows a couple of words in Italian too.
Maybe I’m slightly better off with English, so imagine that. But regardless of that, I mean, nowadays there’s technology, if you want to say something more complex, you can always find a way to make yourself understood.
So yeah, I think communication is there, and it absolutely doesn’t depend on the language difference.
So yes, it’s a bit of a particular relationship, but if you really want it, you can make it work. A lot of the time we create problems in our heads that don’t even exist.
And to answer the question: “Are you jealous?” I think Scarlett isn’t jealous. But me, I don’t know if it’s because I’m Neapolitan, or just Italian, or maybe it’s cultural, but I do get jealous sometimes. It just hasn’t really come out yet because there hasn’t been a situation for it, but of course I would be jealous of Scarlett.
But she’s not, I don’t even understand why she isn’t jealous. Though I kind of like it when someone is a bit jealous… but why? Anyway, that’s her thing.
I don’t like toxic, unhealthy jealousy at all—but I do like a bit of healthy jealousy, you know? When it’s balanced. But people who aren’t jealous at all… I don’t know. Anyway, yeah, we definitely come from different cultures, that’s for sure, but…
