We will be having another BENCH ACTION DAY on Wednesday 20th August 2025 from 10am to 1pm. It would be great to see volunteers in the Rec. to give the most needy benches some TLC. Idverde supply equipment, we provide the elbow grease. Anyone is invited, refreshments are provided!

The beautifully restored, Grade 2 listed bandstand at Croydon Road Recreation Ground is now open for bookings for community events during the summer season. If you are interested in performing where David Bowie once played please contact us at bandstand@becrec.net

Following approval of our bid to obtain funding from the LB Bromley Platinum Jubilee Parks Fund, our proposal to install some new park signage in the park was accepted. The money has now allowed us to design and install new park signage at the park's major entrances.
