Always a privilege to see your name in the credits for something, never gets old. But when it’s over the skyline of your own city, that’s extra special #WaterlooRoad

Last week I went to see What Does It Take To Slay A Dragon @53two by @becxh INCREDIBLE such an arresting premise at its core which really works, I've not seen anything like it. It's a conversation, one which responsibly compels you to challenge your own beliefs Go It's awesome

Tomorrow is #Breakthrough-individuals from across #GreaterManchester teamed with some of the best mentors in #Theatre, ready to learn, grown & produce their own work in 1 week. A leg up, a glass-ceiling smashed. Thanks to all who have helped fund this ace opportunity! 💜💙#Mcr

I had the opportunity to see #WhatDoesItTakeToSlayADragon @takebacktheatre @53two yesterday. Thought-provoking urgent theatre with innovative staging whose themes sit and percolate for hours after. Great work by all involved.

Really interesting part of the conversation about right left, class, race, getting offended and protest. Also hope. I think this exploration was very well performed, written and told.

This play 🖤. I haven't stopped thinking about it. It's intense, deep and beautifully written and performed. There's real menace with some lighter moments, both subtlety executed with such power. You're in from the start, huge love to everyone involved. Love this place ❤️🐝

A packed house tonight @53two for the second night and having worked both shows it’s one of the most thought provoking shows you’re likely to see covering some deep and complex themes in an innovative production

It was great to interview @becxh about writing the new play What Does it Take to Slay a Dragon? It looks set to be divisive, thought-provoking, edgy, & funny. There are songs, too. It opens @53two 11th June. Interview will follow later this week @ILoveMCR ticketsource.co.uk/53two/e-kzrlzq

You don't need to be a prophet. Images like this - of starved Palestinians hammed into fenced cages by Israel - will be remembered for generations as hideous evidence of a terrible crime. And history will remember not just those who cheered it on, but those who stayed silent.
