Neither here nor there on this specifically but if you're actually watching/analysing the game then the eye test should provide you clarity on if he's having impact regardless of possession count + why don't we also not count time-chewing/junk possessions as well then?

R6 | Final 23 Tom Brown hasn’t looked like it this year, fair enough his omission. Hopper, managed or not, his form was definitely a factor in him missing this game. OHB stiff. Expect Banks to go to HB, Retschko to take his wing. McAuliffe needs a good game. #GoTiges

@RFC_Centre Playing an inside mid on a wing was never going to work. He did have some good moments though. Cumming comes in and takes midfield minutes off Prestia. Ross and Prestia then fight for a half fwd role.

@bedgy3 I haven’t seen much from McAuliffe this year tbh. I like him & I want it to work, but he has to show something this week. Cumming will be taking someone’s spot next week…

@RFC_Centre Sonsie has the attributes to be a decent wingman /was always going to be an outside mid Mccaulife is a inside midfielder doesn’t have attributes to play other roles and has the Bodie to play inside where as Sonsie didn’t

@bedgy3 I had the same argument for a bloke like Sonsie & I was shot down every time. Funny when it happens to someone that isn’t a whipping boy… Kane needs to do what Tyler did last year, go back & obliterate VFL footy (he can do it) & demand a spot, much like Sonsie did.
