let me tell you stupid ass niggas what traditional rap is since y’all pushing this narrative
traditional rap, aka Hip-Hop, has five pillars. one of them being knowledge (of self and in the face of ignorance)
these rules were decided to keep the black community together, and help uplift marginalized groups during the civil rights era. this sort of community was important because it kept everyone aware of their rights that were coming, rights that were leaving, and rights that were at risk. when our government looks at who to oppress It Is Not Just Black People. a class war is a distraction, and all this stupid ass discourse is a product of over a decade of degeneracy being swept under the rug
use your brains: this wasn’t just no diss track, this was ragebait, a successful attempt to rile up a community who has been consistently disregarded & clowned on (trans people as a whole) further breaking down the unity we’ve been attempting to build since the civil rights era. and in the process of these people trying to tell you guys how offended they are, you guys openly tell them it’s not that serious. sounds familiar to what a Broader group of people love to do to us
nas, biggie, jay-z, and pac NEVER did no 🦝 shit like that. and they don’t serve as an example of what the community behind hip-hop truly is, they was just good MCs. learn y’alls precedents and do the knowledge nigga, it isn’t hard
y’all should be citing people like KRS-one, slum village, tribe called quest (who recently denounced a transphobic song they made in the 90s with their track We The People, perfect example of how this “knowledge” thing works), and many, many more rappers who were once the majority but stricken down by the ignorance that continues to destroy us

@bbytetchi it’s like everybody lost the ability to believe in multiple things at once while simultaneously pushing the same hedonistic narratives that strayed hip-hop away from its original pillar of knowledge. and then people wanna preach black liberation? the ancestors are pissed

@zanebars jane dont need to be sharing her every thought all the time and i think majority of ppl agree with that i dont think it goes any deeper than that. but calling out hypocrisy doesnt fall under the “whataboutism”fallacy niggas claiming jane racist when its outright not true

@bedroque00 if those artist step out of line they should be checked too. tired of this pussy ass game of whataboutism yall tryna push but it’s not gonna work

words should alw be chosen carefully because we’ve lived enough to see how shit can ultimately snowball one way or another. but at the same time i dont have the will to compromise with anyone with any attempt to capitalize off the situation especially with the means to using a real life issue as a scapegoat for another personal & undisclosed issue
