@okonski_s I finished my masters and jumped straight into a PhD programme as I had my heart set on becoming an academic... If I knew then what I know now, I'd probably have stopped at my honours degree, wouldn't have bothered with a masters. I finished up and went straight to industry.

It's time to stop dumping thankless tasks on women. Women get more asks than men to serve on committees, plan events, and take notes. They're more likely to be penalized if they say no—and taken for granted if they say yes. Work should be divided equitably by role, not gender.
