#UAE تعزيزاً لمنظومة التميز القيادي في الشارقة، تشرفنا بالاحتفاء بتخريج الدفعة الثانية من برنامج “قادة المستقبل”؛ المبادرة الرائدة من “بيئة” والمخصصة لتطوير مهارات الكوادر التنفيذية وتمكينهم من قيادة دفة التطوير في قطاعاتهم. شهد الحفل، الذي أقيم في مقر “بيئة” الرئيسي، حضوراً لافتاً من كبار قادة الأعمال والمهنيين من مختلف القطاعات لتكريم 20 خريجاً وخريجة، بعد رحلة تعليمية مكثفة استمرت على مدار 10 أشهر. وللمرة الأولى منذ انطلاق البرنامج، لم تقتصر هذه الدفعة على موظفي “بيئة” فحسب، بل ضمت كفاءات تنموية وتنفيذية من مؤسسات رائدة في الشارقة، وهي: مؤسسة القلب الكبير، ومؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية، والمكتب الإعلامي لحكومة الشارقة. وقد أتم المشاركون 10 مساقات تدريبية صُممت خصيصاً لتواكب المتغيرات المتسارعة في عالم الأعمال، إلى جانب اكتساب خبرات عملية من خلال الزيارات الميدانية ومشاريع التخرج المبتكرة. كما تضمن المنهج الدراسي لهذا العام فرصة الحصول على مساقات تعليمية من أرقى الجامعات والمعاهد العالمية مثل: كلية (MIT) للإدارة التنفيذية، وكلية كولومبيا لإدارة الأعمال، وكلية تاك للتعليم التنفيذي. Strengthening Sharjah’s leadership ecosystem, we were honored to celebrate the graduation of the second cohort of the Future Leadership Program, a flagship initiative by BEEAH dedicated to developing future-ready executives for high-impact roles. Held at our Headquarters, the ceremony brought together business leaders and emerging professionals from across sectors to recognize 20 graduates following a 10-month blended learning journey. For the first time since the program’s inception, the graduating cohort included executives not only from BEEAH but leading Sharjah entities such as The Big Heart Foundation, Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation, and the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. Participants completed 10 expert-led modules tailored to today’s evolving business landscape, while gaining practical insights through industry visits and a challenging capstone project. #UAE حققت محطة الشارقة لتحويل النفايات إلى طاقة إنجازاً مهماً عبر تحويل إجمالي مليون طن من النفايات إلى كهرباء منخفضة الكربون، وذلك انطلاقاً من دورها في تعزيز أمن الطاقة عبر الحلول المستدامة. إلى ذلك، تواصل المحطة تحقيق تقدم ملموس في تحويل كميات كبيرة من النفايات بعيداً عن المكبات، مع إعادة تعريف مصادر الطاقة النظيفة من خلال ابتكارات عالمية المستوى، كونها أول محطة على المستوى التجاري بالمنطقة. ومع خطط التوسعة الجارية، من المتوقع أن تضاعف المحطة أثرها الإيجابي، وأن توفّر الطاقة لما يصل إلى 60,000 منزل عبر الشبكة العامة، وذلك عبر التعاون الاستراتيجي مع هيئة كهرباء ومياه وغاز الشارقة. ومن خلال معالجة المزيد من النفايات المتبقية التي يصعب إعادة تدويرها، ستسهم المحطة في المراحل المقبلة في تفادي ما يصل إلى مليون طن من انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون. يُذكر أن المحطة تأسست في 2022، وكانت باكورة أعمال شركة الإمارات لتحويل النفايات إلى طاقة، المشروع المشترك بين “بيئة” ومجموعة “تدوير”، حيث تمثل نموذجاً مثبتاً لمشاريع مستدامة منخفضة الكربون على مستوى الدولة. Driving energy security with sustainable solutions, the Sharjah Waste to Energy plant has achieved a significant milestone by converting a total of 1,000,000 tons of waste into low-carbon electricity. As the first facility of its kind in the region, the plant continues to make strides in diverting large volumes of waste from landfill while redefining clean energy sources through world-class innovation. With expansion plans underway, the plant is set to double its positive impact and power up to 60,000 homes on the public grid, in strategic collaboration with the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA). By transforming more residual, hard-to-recycle waste, the facility will eventually displace up to 1 million tons of CO2 emissions in future phases. Held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai has opened its four-day program, running through February 12, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, convening top medical professionals from around the world. Through Sharjah Health Authority’s participation at WHX Dubai, BEEAH is honored to present our healthcare flagship, the Jawaher Boston Medical District, a hospital of the future being developed in Sharjah, in partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Mass General Brigham. In the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, BEEAH has entered a strategic partnership with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) to launch DARE 2.0, an internal innovation accelerator designed to embed intrapreneurship within BEEAH and empower employees to drive organization-wide impact. Formalized at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, the agreement was signed by Khaled Al Huraimel, our Group CEO and Vice Chairman, and Her Excellency Sara Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa. Building on our long-standing partnership, the agreement will kick off a structured program that applies Sheraa’s accelerator expertise to BEEAH’s innovation priorities, reflecting our continued investment in people-driven solutions. As a sustainability and innovation partner to leading institutions, we were honored to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) to support the secure processing and recycling of shredded banknotes, advancing circular economy practices within the financial sector. Formalized on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the MoU was signed by Mohammed Bin Kuwair, Head of Corporate Services at CBUAE, and Ali Al Mheiri, Senior Manager of Business Relations – Environment at BEEAH, in the presence of senior officials from both entities, and witnessed by Fahad Shehail, CEO of Environment at BEEAH, and H.E. Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor for Banking Operations and Support Services at CBUAE. In a drive to strengthen our Net Zero by 2040 efforts, we launched BEEAH’s first Sustainable Finance Framework to fund eligible sustainable projects across our diversified operations. Developed in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the initiative was announced at the World Future Energy Summit 2026, on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. As a critical part of our sustainability strategy, the new framework will empower BEEAH and its subsidiaries to issue a range of sustainable financing instruments, advancing our positive impact across industries. #UAE في خطوة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تعزيز مفاهيم الاقتصاد الدائري بقطاع المركبات الكهربائية، أعلنت وزارة الطاقة والبنية التحتية بالتعاون مع شركة “لوهوم”، الهندية المتخصصة في إعادة تدوير بطاريات المركبات الكهربائية وإنتاج المواد الخام، و”بيئة”، عن توقيع اتفاقية لتأسيس مشروع مشترك لتطوير أول مرفق واسع النطاق في دولة الإمارات لإعادة تدوير بطاريات المركبات الكهربائية. وسيقدّم المشروع حلاً متكاملاً يشمل إعادة توظيف البطاريات المستعملة ضمن تطبيقات “العمر الثاني”، قبل تفكيكها بأمان لاستخلاص المواد القيّمة منها. يٌذكر أن الإعلان عن هذه الشراكة جاء خلال القمة العالمية لطاقة المستقبل 2026 ضمن فعاليات أسبوع أبوظبي للاستدامة، وتأتي هذه الخطوة امتداداً لاتفاقية تعاون سابقة بين “بيئة” و”لوهوم”، لإدخال تقنيات متقدمة لإعادة تدوير بطاريات الليثيوم-أيون إلى دولة الإمارات. ومن المقرر أن يٌقام المرفق الجديد ضمن مجمع “بيئة” لإدارة النفايات بطاقة تشغيلية تستهدف معالجة نحو 1,500 طن من البطاريات خلال عامه الأول، بما يدعم الطموحات الوطنية للاقتصاد الدائري، ويسهم في تسريع وتيرة التحول نحو حلول التنقل المستدام في الدولة. In a strategic move to advance circularity in the electric vehicle sector, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), Indian battery recycling and raw-materials producer LOHUM, and BEEAH have entered into an agreement to establish a new joint venture to develop the UAE’s first large-scale EV battery recycling facility. The end-to-end solution will repurpose used batteries for second-life applications before safely dismantling them to recover valuable materials. Announced at the World Future Energy Summit 2026 during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the joint venture partnership builds on an earlier collaboration agreement between BEEAH and LOHUM to bring advanced lithium-ion battery recycling to the UAE. Set to be located in BEEAH’s Waste Management Complex, the new facility aims to process 1,500 tons of batteries in its first year, supporting national circular economy ambitions and accelerating the adoption of green mobility. #ADSW2026 #WFES2026 #Energy #BEEAH
