@brnfrmawsh @OWCavalry Double shield is literally just a balance issue and wasn’t a thing till domina got added and even then I haven’t played against it It’s not an issue of the format itself But there are counters to it

Aaron Keller on the 5v5 vs 6v6 Debate 👥 The game director admitted they took too long to address it and are still not sure what to do with the data. He fears that multiple core identities may not be healthy for #Overwatch in the long term.

@OWCavalry if I said 6v6 is slop and just results in spamming abilities into crowds (and usually into 2 barriers repeatedly) whereas 5v5 actually takes strategy

@piskooooo @OWCavalry That would just massively increase the counterswap problem and the fact that single tanks can feel unkillable when too strong Double shield won’t be a thing because the devs know it’s a problem because it was the longest meta of the games history Single tanks is the issue

@beeb246 @OWCavalry what if main tanks got buffed and off tanks were changed to damage role? i'm just trying to figure out how to have 6v6 not turn into double shield spam
