okay after re-playing this is a really solid game and the connections to dbd lore is so good its actually crazy that it didn't release with a chapter since the game literally ends with a trial starting.... i feel like this game is very over hated TBH..

lithe is pretty situational and can be played around sometimes.
i agree with vigil aoe effect but that still wouldn't make people happy.

@DrPhil39 @vampire_toothy Adrenaline is NOT dead, distortion is weaker yes but it's a lot healthier in terms of how you get value and fog vials were not fun to play into with how dark and opaque the clouds got. I saw how it basically was worse than SILENT HILL fog

This is the reality of Dead by Daylight right now. You don't NEED to slug to win, but you face so much less resistance in the kind of perks people are running when you choose to play this way.
I will never understand how there was a push to nerf slugging & tunneling while BHVR continues to release more and more perks that punish killers for spreading hooks.

Swapped my cenobite build over to a slugging build and instantly had 10x more fun simply because I didn't have to deal with fast track and the other 37 broken survivor meta perks right now

you get stun points which are hard to get, you get value from perks that depend on stuns (exultation, smash hit..) and you still get to play the tile normally
it just forces you to play the tile instead of pre drop and run.

@HensDBD tofu did a really cool tourney where it consisted of 3/4 cc on a team and a comp player that acts as their mentor/backup it was one of the most fun tourneys I've watched
if that's not possible then just make it for cc if people wanted to see comp dbd league exists.
