It’s simply your poor understanding of how government works and how the media reports it.
In May 2024, ₦3.3 trillion was approved after vetting Gencos’ claims.
In April 2026, that same ₦3.3 trillion was approved for payment.
You’ll still see more headlines when it’s finally released.
That’s the pattern.

I was still in Ago Iwoye in January 2024. The airport in Iperu is less than 40 mins away. Most of the banks in Ijebu are closed. The biggest economic activities in that axis is POS and lounges. Those are the ones that will use airline and airport?
