I met @lang_lang in Paris 🤯🎹 Today I was playing piano at Gate de Lyon when something incredible happened... Thank you @SteinwayAndSons for allowing us to play piano in the best condition on your amazing two upright pianos!

@1goodtern I’ve always loved starlings and think they are like arsey teenagers. I always expect to see them sharing a sneaky roll up behind the potting shed 😊

When I was little I used to get upset with the starlings that would noisily descend onto our bird table and barge the smaller birds out of the way. I used to feel the same way about jackdaws and magpies too. But now that most garden bird species have taken a hit, I think about those ones very differently. Now I have a lot more love, that they're are able to fight their way past every obstacle put in their way by humans. And I had so much love for the starling in my garden this morning.

I used to make this regularly when the children were small and we had very little money - affectionately known as hot dog soup. These days it has a few more ingredients but still makes a substantial meal for 8 or 10 people for less than a bucket of latte from a coffee shop.

Someone's started playing the slightly out of tune piano very badly in the departure lounge. If some loathsome little kid turns up with a violin they're both going through the window.

@kazzydoodah I had a similar thing last week - three days of just me and boss while Will had 3 days off. Normally I end up horribly stressed/distressed and in a completely overwhelmed RSD nightmare. But it was actually quite calm and mostly criticism-free.
