Reuters is being abused to the max by "AEO experts" posting AI written listicles in their paid press release section, and it works - for now. I have tracked prompts for topics related to hair transplants in Turkey (we are scraping the UI and not using APIs for this purpose). Google AI Mode has used Reuters extensively as the main source of information to recommend hair transplant clinics from Turkey. Reuters have been cited 138 times across 45 prompts. 2026 will be a wild year in terms of SEO and AI visibility strategy 👀 Let me know a niche you want me to dive in via a comment, and I will create similar reports for you.

AEO / GEO myths to leave behind in 2025. 1. LLMs.txt 2. Thinking an AI SEO agent is going to “do SEO & GEO for you.” Every commercial AI SEO agent is useless. They overpromise & underdeliver. 3. Using the prompt “hey ChatGPT, you’re an expert on [topic], give me a 2,000 word blog post,” posting it as-is, and then hoping it’s going to show up on Google and in AI tools. 4. Thinking all AI content will get penalized by the algorithms. Done properly (or on a big domain), AI content can drive business results. 5. Paying a GEO expert to do “chunk optimization.” Chunking content is just making your content readable. 6. Thinking AEO / GEO have nothing in common with SEO. Ask your favourite GEO expert for 25 things that are unique to AI search and don’t overlap with SEO. They will block you. 7. Saying SEO is dead. If someone says SEO doesn't have a place in 2026, ask them if they need a sip of water. ChatGPT and other AI tools use APIs to pull data from search engines. Guess what you need to do to influence search engines.
