PS: I'm not gonna sit here and trash talk the ending because honestly I'm not emotionally invested in CSM. Just saying, I think Fujimoto may have missed the point in comparing the two works. And he could also be trolling too, it's kinda funny either way.

Okay to be fair though, the ending to the Big Lebowski (spoiler alert) was more satisfying. Lebowski is a bystander throughout most of the film but he DOES go through some significant character growth and changes as "stuff" happens to him throughout the movie.
