@E_ShaManagement @TarHeelMBB Program has trended in the wrong direction for the last 4 yrs. This isn’t leadership doing him wrong. He had time to right the ship and get things back on track but failed. No different from the traditional business environment. Production regression = FIRED.

@behall78 @TarHeelMBB Ummmmmm what are you talking about. This young man wanted to play 4 his dad. It happens all the time for coaches with kids who play BB. Y'all are real weird about his feelings with what was done to his dad. F the institution when it comes to my family

@E_ShaManagement @TarHeelMBB Yeah, aight. His dad failed to meet the expectation and standard. I mean, bro had a .382 win percentage again Q1 opponents. Good Riddance!

@E_ShaManagement @TarHeelMBB I mean, can easily leave vice staying with the so called ops. Pretty sure there were FARRRR better players that would’ve been a better and productive player. Buddy couldn’t even dominate D3 for Christ’s sake .

@DukeGotMe Agreed on the catastrophic HD debacle after the natty game. I was calling for his ass to go after the missed tourney, but the faithful on this app told me to pound sand. Needless to say, they came around. However, don’t act like the two rosters have been commensurate over 3 yrs.

Hubert had a 5 star PG that’s helped Michigan get to the FF, an All American guard, 2 5 star recruits (one in the league currently), and lost in the first round. He brought back 4 of 5 starters from a team that made the national title game, and missed the tournament altogether… Hubert hurt Hubert

@BlueInThe212 Doesn’t matter what I want, that’s the EXPECTATION. If you have the best players, then you should win. Call it “March Predictable”. Truth is, they choked/collapsed 2 yrs in a row.

@behall78 "other coaches with the same talent profile would've went further." So you believe. Is that even what you want though? Everybody gather 'round for March Predictable. He's also been at the helm for 4 seasons. If we are putting the context in, we are putting the context in.

Hey, well then sign me up for the "collapse." Most coaches would give anything to get - at any point in their career - to where he's already been: 2nd round, E8, F4, E8. He will figure this out; they will figure this out. And when they do: be sure to stay on that side over there.
The Athletic@TheAthletic

For the third straight postseason, Jon Scheyer’s Duke team is done in stunning fashion. Another collapse. Another double-digit lead gone. Another ending that adds to a growing pattern. At some point, it’s no longer a one-off. It’s the narrative.

@CoachCherry93 A lot of coaches win games, but the next level/progression is important.

Jon Scheyer is one of the best coaches in college basketball. This narrative that some are trying to create that he is overrated is ridiculous. He has a better resume in 4 years than some coaches have for their career. Duke men’s basketball is in good hands.

@DukeManiacs Nah, he choked. Look at the talent profile over the past four years. Talent was equally distributed during the old days where NIL and the transfer portal without penalty didn’t exist.

@Freshmate18 @vettepassby35 Logic to me was about getting to the next level (final four). Both had good individual numbers with boozer edging him in ppg and rebounds, but one made the final four and the other one didn’t. Not hard to raise your level of thinking to understand my intent.

UNC is viewing Billy Donovan as the safest hire outside the family. Cost-efficient, no buyout with Bulls. But if you're home-run swinging, it's gotta be Tommy Lloyd or Nate Oats. Pay the buyouts. And win big. Oats would never be in football's shadow again, even with Belichick.

I am blown away by anyone defending the Hurley/ref thing. Dude couldn’t have the impulse control of just celebrating his team’s miracle. Made it almost immediately about his beef with anyone in stripes and should have 100000% been T’d up and cost his player that moment. Unreal
